23,75 €
Description
Bring a masterpiece of Japanese art history into your home with this finely detailed fine art print. The work is by Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839 1892), widely recognized as the last great master and a significant innovator of the ukiyo-e genre. His career spanned two eras, from the final years of the Edo period to the start of the Meiji Restoration. This print from 1886 is titled Moon above the Sea of Daimotsu Bay Benkei and impresses with its dramatic depiction of waves and the armor of the figures in the boats. Immerse yourself in the powerful scenery and masterful composition that characterizes Yoshitoshi's unique style. A distinctive piece for lovers of Japanese woodblock prints.
This dramatic woodblock print fits exceptionally well in a stylish living room, study, or hallway, where it can serve as a powerful focal point. It perfectly complements interior styles such as Japandi, Asian-inspired living, or eclectic vintage spaces. The scene is dominated by deep blues, grays, and the dark silhouettes of the boats and armor, accented by the bright light of the moon, creating a tense and nocturnal atmosphere. This history-rich print is an ideal gift for collectors of Japanese art, lovers of Samurai stories, or for someone seeking a distinctive piece of wall art for a new home.

Frequently asked questions
What materials are used?
Our posters are printed on high-quality semi-glossy paper at 170gsm – sturdy enough to last, yet flexible enough to ship without creasing. The semi-glossy finish delivers vibrant colors and razor-sharp detail without distracting glare.
Are framed posters available?
Yes! Alongside unframed posters, selected designs are also available framed. The poster is already mounted inside the frame – no assembly or fitting required, just unbox and hang.
Are the frames ready to hang?
Yes, absolutely. All frames arrive fully assembled, including hanging hardware. Just unbox and hang it up – no tools and no assembly required.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is a flat 4.95 € per order and free on orders from 50 €. This applies to every country we ship to. Digital downloads never have shipping costs. Since your order is usually produced and shipped by a print partner in your region, you typically won't run into extra customs charges.
Where do you ship to?
We currently ship to 38 countries: all 27 EU member states plus Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway and the United Kingdom, as well as the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and Brazil. You can find the full list on our "Shipping & Delivery" page. Your order is automatically produced by the print partner closest to your delivery address, which means shorter transport routes and faster delivery.
How long does shipping take?
Every poster is printed after you order. Production takes 1–3 business days, followed by 3–7 business days of shipping depending on the destination country. In total, your order usually arrives within 4–10 business days. Framed posters take a little longer to produce. As soon as your parcel is on its way, you will receive an email with the tracking number and a tracking link.
Who produces my order?
Your order isn't made in one central warehouse – it's produced through a network of print-on-demand partners specialized in high-quality poster and frame printing. Depending on where you live, the printer closest to you handles production and shipping, which saves time and avoids unnecessary transport distances. That way you get the same quality in every country we ship to, without long wait times.
Can I return my order?
If your poster ever arrives damaged or there's a quality issue, we'll take care of it right away with a free replacement or a full refund – just reach out to us.
Since every poster is made specifically for you, cancellation without a reason (e.g. simply not liking it) is legally excluded. Not sure about your order? Just message us before you buy – we're happy to help you decide.
